Message of the Mayor
Dasol is a promising town endowed with rich natural resources. But what do we do to realize this wealth to uplift/improve the quality of life of our constituents. All we need to do is to ACT ON IT – let’s do our every share of endeavor in performing good governance. KEEP PRESSIN’ FORWARD despite the detractors effort to mislead us, lets keep our battle cry be heard “SULONG DASOL, NGAYON NA!.”
As leader, fulfillment takes place only when we witness our people sober and satisfied with their basic needs.

The History
History reveals that Dasol got its name from a medicinal herb called "dosol" which abound in the area. The plants have oval leaves and green in color, which was commonly used to cure infected wounds. The Spaniards hardly pronounced "DOSOL" as when spoken, the word sounded "DASOL". It became its official name when it was created as a municipality. read more... |
