Industries and Investment Potential
Various investment potential and activities emerges at the municipality of Dasol below are the industries being developed and being improved.

- Cooked Salt Processing
Salt Production - It has often been said (and proven to be true) that Dasol has the finest and whitest salt in Pangasinan. There are two kinds of salt; the Coarse salt (also called solar salt) or known as barara and Cooked salt which is usually finer in texture (thus also called Fine Salt).
- Rice & Vegetable Farm
Rice and Vegetable Farming - Locally, rice is the predominant crop with vegetable farming following a close-second. Total land area planted to rice is about 2,423 hectares with 50 allotted to vegetables. Only recently, the town's vegetable produce like "talong" and "ampalaya" have come to supply most of the province's veggie needs.
- Mango Farming
Mango production is a thriving activity in the locality. The MAJENT AGRO INDUSTRIAL CROP manages the biggest mango farm in Dasol. So far, as per record, the total mango fruit bearing trees is 6,513 trees. Most products are sold locally and also for export.
- Marine and Fishing Industries
Dasol has a total fishing ground of 15,618.60 hectares called the Dasol Bay located at the contours of the South China Sea. There are about a hundred species of marine fish in this lush area with the annual volume of fish catch a year averaging at 30-50 MT.
- Tilapia Harvest Bangus and Tilapia Production - This is a prominent economic activity in line with the municipality's thrusts towards aquaculture. Dasol is blessed with wide rivers suited for bangus, prawn and tilapia culture. Also, the locality is engaged in freshwater tilapia culture. The total fishpond area is about 642.9869 hectares; 549.8072 of that is privately owned and the remaining 105.51 hectares is under the FLA.
- Osyter Culture - Oysters are usually cultured along river-side barangays particularly Barangays Gais-Guipe and Magsaysay. The annual average volume of catch is 0.8 MT.
- Seaweed Harvest Seaweed Farming - Is now considered as an alternative if not a lucrative livelihood for fishermen. Aside from the local species of seaweeds like arorosep, kulet, balulang, etc. technical experts experimented with the potentiality of certain seaweed called guso. Barangay Osmena in particular flourishes as a Demo Farm where supplies of propagules are distributed in entire Region I. So far, there are several numbers of families where exact data is not at hand as of this time.
- Fish Processing
Fish processing seems to be a timely business activity in Dasol as traditional ways of fish processing have been expanded with new technology Fish Processing and bigger economic markets. Bagoong making, smoked and boneless bangus or milkfish and dried fish have proven to be very profitable.
- Fruit Wine Processing
A small-cottage industry meant to augment the income of stay-at-home womenfolk, Dasol's fruit-wine making industry Duhat and Bignay Wine has grown to become a strong income earner as well as tourist attraction. Naturally rich in fruit trees, favorite sources include the bugnay and the duhat. The Malimpin Multi-Purpose Cooperative Inc. is the most well known producer of these fruit wines, winning both regional and national awards for their products.
- Tourism
A potential industry in the Municipality of Dasol. It has various tourist potentials owing to its geographical locations with the presence of Dasol Bay along the contours of China Sea.
Along the coastal lines are various beach resorts which are mostly semi developed and some are potential for development particularly located in Osmeña and Tambobong.
