Renewable Energy coming to Dasol

Cope up with climate change, preserving the nature, maximizing the energy available are the common points most of us encounter now a days. If actions taken will serve us right projects like these will come our way in the municipality. Imagine, the hundreds of thousands spent for electricity and potable water projects, well in fact the resources is just around the corner. As of now, the LGU is contemplating to consider solar energy and wind power or a combination of both to energize Poblacion area or just the municipal compound. As a requirement, it needs a 2.0 hectares area to accommodate a solar farm producing a 1 megawatt power. Proposals are yet under study for manageable and appropriate costing or just introduce the power project for solicitation to financially blessed Dasolinians. Power data requirement are now available for past preparation of FS.

Water Treatment for drinking water is also considered, as water is one basic need of the population.  The problem on salty water intrusion is now emerging as an effect of global warming especially in coastal areas. Potable water is priority now days, by all means where there is water; purification is required though the cost of this project is gargantuan to an ordinary LGU options are under study.
